2003-01-05 - 10:53 p.m. Happy New Year! I know I should have updated something like 10 times since I wrote last, but first I was really busy with exams, and then - when my Christmas vacation started - I more or less moved in with Lars, and as he doesn't yet have a modem, I have been unable to update. Tomorrow I am starting uni again, so tonight seemed like as good a time as any to jot down a few words... even thought I really OUGHT to be getting to bed, but since when has that stopped me ;-) Anyway, now you know why my English might be worse than usual. I tend to get words mixed up when I'm tired. I'm not even going to try to write a detailed description of all that's happened since last, as that would make this entry much too long - nobody would ever get through it - but just to list some key points... December 3rd. Lars and I borrowed my grandfathers car, rented a trailer and got his last things moved! Alright! Finally, everything was moved. You better believe I was happy. Since then I've actually spent most nights at his place, and have especially loved these past 2-3 weeks where all 4 of us (M, his girlfriend C, Lars and I) were staying there. A) it was cozy. B) it was great getting to know them better. C) we had a great time together. Of course I can't be certain, but I enjoyed myself a lot, and I *think* they did too. They seemed to anyway ;-) So far I've met Lars' parents three times :o) They're really nice. The first time was a complete disaster! I was SO nervous that I could hardly say anything, and just sat mute for most of the evening. I was so annoyed with myself, and could have kicked myself for behaving so ridiculously. One relief is that I was SO quiet that they must have known it was due to nerves, and I'm not like that usually. At least, they know that now ;-) We were all invited over on Boxing Day together and THAT day I dare say "A great time was had by all". We talked to our hearts delight - no shrinking violet about me this time Both Christmas and New Years were quiet affairs this year. I was fine with that, as I'm not really a big party person. And now it's 2003... I have to admit, I have pretty big expectations for this year. Well, it would have a hard time not being better than the previous two anyway. No 'A-situation', Lars has moved, I've met his family, my sister's well - the major things that have been concerning me in 2001 and 2002 have all been more or less sorted out. Besides, I have a pretty good idea that Lars is going to propose to me soon :-) I would love actually to get married to him this year... but let's wait and see what happens.
