2002-10-22 - 11:48 a.m. I only have about ten minutes, but I'll at least start an entry - then I can always finish it later... To start at the beginning, "Wyrd Sisters" went better than I had ever imagined it would. We had a 10% increase in the audience in comparison to last year, and several people told us, it was the best play we'd ever done, so that's ALL good :-) The rehersals were stressing me out, but by the time we actually got to the performances and their adrenalin-inducing quality I was having a great time! Good! That's how acting should be. I'm still not sure how involved I want to be next year, but I'm feeling heaps better about the whole buisiness than I was just a couple of weeks ago. Since I wrote last, Lars has definitely been getting his act together. Wednesday he moved most of his clothes, Thursday to Sunday he was on vacation with me, so obviously couldn't do anything, but two of his friends called to hear about him having moved, so at least the grapevine is working, yesterday he got a copy of the key made and today he'll be moving lots of stuff again... at least that's what I'm counting on him doing, but both of us have been feeling under the weather since Saturday (there was a tummy bug going around at the hotel we were staying at - GRRRRR!), so I'm trying not to expect too much of him. If it's possible, I'm going to try to borrow a car tomorrow to help him really get somewhere with his moving. So yeah... all in all it seems he's getting his act together, and that thing are moving quicker now than they ever have before. Not that I think I deserve any less, mind you, but still it's great to be proven right. Oh, and apparently both M and his girlfriend likes me, which I'm REALLY grateful for! Looking forward to meeting them again. I was at Lars' place yesterday and may go there again today, but M is staying at his girlfriend's place, so I don't know when I'll be meeting them again. Right now what I'm holding out for is meeting Lars' parents and close friends... crazy as it may sound, I don't want to be too pushy though, so I'll give him this week to get his stuff moved, and talk to people on his own initiative, and will then start pestering him about it again next Monday ;-) Fortunately the 'pestering' business is actually starting to work... probably because he's still feeling so guilty about the whole thing - and rightly so! I have forgiven him for it, and love him dearly, but it was a rather low thing to do to me. I have to end this here, as I have a 'job' interview coming up... well, I already have the job, but it's not really a real job... during the autumn vacation (this past week) I received a phonecall from the guy who makes the crossword for the uni newspaper. He had some questions about the theater society as he wants to include us in the next crossword. Afterwards he asked me if I was familiar with the crossword, and sounded thrilled when he heard I solved every one, because he was looking for someone to proofread them!!! So that's now my job! It's only $4 every second week, but I actually get paid for something I'd do anyway, so that's pretty cool :-) Gotta run...
